You gotta love Eames' chairs. Even if Design Within Reach has made these babies available to the hoi palloi at not-so-friendly prices, you can't beat the Eames for the sleek and sexy seating.

You also can't beat The Eames Era - BRM's rag tag group of New Orleans-hailing, indie pop-playing young'uns. They look like this:

Adorable. And tonight, yes folks, tonight, as in Monday January 14th, The Era (as we affectionately call them) will be prominently featured on Lifetimes made for TV movie, Queen Sized. We know you've been waiting for this one like the new season of The Wire. But really, as a sucker for both My Super Sweet 16 AND The Biggest Loser, I see watching this Lifetime special as a kind of "two birds one stone deal." Not only do you get to see how overweight, outcast, highschooler, Maggie rises from the depths of loserdom to local celebrity to...eh...prom queen...

...but you also get to hear The Era's super-infectious pop tell-all hit, "Dear Gabby" off the band's woe-fully overlooked lp, Heroes and Sheroes. That's right folks. Sheroes like Maggie.

Here's The Eames Era's "Dear Gabby"
