Media Eye: Trilogy Of Terror

Some crazyass placements going on these days...

First off, Spoon got a jam in "Cloverfield".  I guess it's suppose to be this dude's jams the night the big bad starts... Glad to say I'm not invited to that winner's party, though living with a two year old is like living with a destroy-all monster (maybe just a bit cuter).  Couldn't the filmmakers have picked another place besides NYC to attack? Think about it; if they picked DC and blew up the White House everyone would've cheered, but instead, New York gets the beat down. If only the cinema attacks on NYC could have ended after "Beneath The Planet of the Apes"...

We also got a Quannum Project's General Elektriks song in the new Woody Allen film "Cassandra's Dream".  The concept that a BRM jam is in a Woody flick is mind blowing to me... Next you'll say Richard Lewis is coming to my apt. to watch "The Simpsons."  Not sure what can happen next (besides a big monster attacking NY).

In the meantime, tonight on Ugly Betty we got Caribou! Watch one of the last original bits of tv programing left (sorry, I'm not counting "American Gladiators").  Enjoy!
