THIS DOES NOT SUCK AT ALL

No, no this did not. When my future wife decided to make a record - she teamed up with one of my favorite folkies (M. Ward). And hell, apparently, she was inspired to sing by one of my favorite actors (Jason Schwartzman). So it just follows that when Zooey D. and M. Ward brought their smash single, "Why Do You Let Me Stay Here" to Late Night With Conan O'Brien they also brought BRM's favorite non-BRM band along to back them up - Yo La Tengo.

The She & Him team never sounded better. Who knew Yo La Ira could play them keys so well? Dude was definitely on some "Straight, No Chaser" meets "Sesame St." shit. 'Twas a nice touch. In fact, they should all make a record together. I can see it now: She & Him & Them. Done.

But question: does anyone else notice that possessed look my lady gets on her face when she sings??? I see Xenu in her eyes.
