POT KETTLE MANIA!!!

Disclaimer: This video features no members of famed lesbian alterna chick rockers, 4 Non Blondes...though it may seem that way.

 

So the "Pot Kettle Black" mania has reached a fever pitch here at Bank Robber HQ. No matter what your previous feelings on tap dancing may be, Tilly and The Wall's brand new single "Pot Kettle Black" is kicking your ass anyways. And we know it, if only cause the Bank Robber's email has been literally flooded with your "bon mots." Let's break down what makes the debut single off of the bands brand spanking new one - cryptically titled 0 (Team Love) so awesome:

1. It's got some dirty raw sex riff that sounds like the musical equivalent of getting beer spilled on you.

2. It's got a moog in it.

3. It's got a cheer-leader, high school movie, foot stomp gymnasium thing going on. It's like a the "pot" heads (pun totally intended) took over your high school and through an orgiastic pep rally.

4. It has a spoken bridge that features the phrases: "did you hear about that bitch?" and "what a ho!" and "what a slut!". WE LOVE IT.

W'ever this song totally kicked enough ass. But then there's this video that features Tilly and Co. driving around in an retro convertible Saab, wearing tie-dyed somewhat less ironically than I would. The thing reminds me of the movie Clueless. And how can that be bad!? It can't.

In short - we love Tilly. "Pot Kettle Black" single of the year.

Verdict: WAY WAY BETTER THAN THE TING TINGS
