BROBAMA ROLL CONTINUEZ!

Man, you guys can't imagine what I was feeling when I stared perplexed at my gym's plasma screens last eve befuddled, sweaty and trying to make sense of the headline: "McCain SUSPENDING his campaign." As my legs struggled to keep up with level 20 on the Equinox Stairmaster (read: torture-mahine), my mind raced, pondering this thought: "so like what? does this mean Obama is president now!??! how in the hell does someone suspend their campaign one month before the election? what a sucker move. McCain's just trying to weasel out of getting his ass handed to him by our boy brObama at the debates. this is so weak. this is so transparent. doesn't McCain realize that he shouldn't be scared of the debates. he'd probably have a better chance of winning the white house by losing the debate anyways...and furthermore, to use the financial crisis as a scapegoat - jesus - what next, Palin's gonna give birth to Bill Maher's baby on election day? And I don't know about this "bailout". in fact, this whole thing makes me wish i paid less attention to the back jessica coen's neck in my 10th grade econ class, and more attention to like actual econ. Ugh. And that presidential address! Bush looked so freaking weary man. Looks like W may be hitting the bottle again. Maybe it's the pill bottle this time, but still. It was some Grapes of Wrath shit if I've ever seen it."

But anyways....

This whole thing has us at the BRM HQ feeling completely bummed. We need some Obama style proselytising, hope, and change. I know I sure hope that Obama knows what he's talking about. These are dire times.
