Here's Johnny (sigh)

Oh boy... so our pal John Roderick is seeming to have a little bit of writer's block finishing the long awaited new Long Winters album......Thankfully I got through this post without using a picture of Jack Nicholson from "The Shining" (seriously, can I watch the Lakers/Nuggets and not see Jack in every other shot? God knows he's got a better look then this dude but enough with the shots of Jack already.....)

Anyway John Roderick, instead of writing lyrics is obviously busy doing a video blog about, uh,  not writing lyrics for the new album......Seems like a better use of time? Well as entertaining as it is to see John spiel away, i really do wish he was done with the new record!

That being said, check out his video blog above, and a tune below from the band's most recent release-from 1923's "Putting The Day's To Bed." The song is called "Rich Wife" which should really be the theme for REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NJ, or not.....? Hmmm, maybe John can write a song about uh, real housewives of NJ?

Anything to help the cause.
