Not that I belive in goofy karma or anything along those lines, but this morning upon exiting the post office with a arm full of mail (and really people, what part of "don't send to this address" do you not understand)? the nice lady who asked me if the post office was open was spared any sort of Al Jaffe type reply... It's not really the worst week ever, but I could still be dealing a little less with rain that only hits when I'm sans umbrella or an artist or two that's gone diva on me... Boo fucking hoo, i know... not a total Ziggy week, but I could use a little help to flip the switch...

Well, at least we'll always have Sunday night cable tv to look forward to. Basically a pavlovian reaction since the Sopranos entered the picture,  this Sunday we get to look forward to "Hung".... I can imagine that pitch meeting -"dude with big schvontz becomes a male prostitue" Hmmm, dont know if it will be the new Sopranos (that is a mighty big, uh, schvontz to fill), but  this Sundays episode ends with Numero Group's "Am I  A Good Man."  I'm still uh, hung (sorry), up on the fact that ESPN almost used "Am I A Good Man" for the Barry Bonds documentary they ran awhile ago, but i guess since the chorus isn't "Am I A Good Man, no i'm a schmuck", they decided not to.

Anyway, I'm sure "Hung" is a better place for the song to be... and as always, check out Numero Group... Currently they've hit us with "Smart Palace" you know, the club that from 1963-1975 was the center of the Wichita, Kansas soul scene and the "Solo" label. How could you not know that?
