Should We Only Post Videos With Mike Watt?

Because the world needs another article about music licensing... John Petkovic, who is in Cobra Verde as well as a scribe for Cleveland.Com, has taken the task into his own nimble fingers.  Sure, you get some standard boring quotes from me, but John does offer more then most of the writers of this played out "news" piece.

I'm sure as exciting as it was for John to interview me, it was more exciting for his band Cobra Verde to have their cover of the Rolling Stone's "Play WIth Fire" on the True Blood soundtrack! I of course have been a fan of John's since his Death Of Samatha days, so I also get an extra kick out of getting John and the boys' placements... incuding when they got to play a Foreigner cover band on "The O.C."...yup, you can read the band's diaries about that over here.

So now they've released "Haven't Slept All Year", which is a great title, and they even beat Dinosaur Jr. by already having a video with Mike Watt in it! Hey, it even has the dude from Cheers in the video, and thankfully he's not in drag.
