July 4th vs Boxing Day

One constant since I  started the Bank Robber is that some Canadian music supervisor will get in-touch with me on July 4th for something....I mean I'm not complaining (me complain?), I love all things Canadian, be it SCTV, VoiVod, bacon or D.O.A., so heck yeah all hail Canada.  Anyway,  I'm ready Canada, bring me your cd request, or musical wants needs or desires, the Bank Robber will be obsessively checking it's email until the damn fireworks go off.

As a fourth of July tribute I'm posting  some current Canadian's (clever ay?):

First off Montreal's very own Angela Desvaux-who has a new 7" only release (now that's the way to do it!).  Check out her cover of not my favorite Wings song "Let Me Roll It":

So yeah, how about the Albertans from... Alberta (man, I'm so glad they aren't from Uranus), check out their new album "Legends Of San Marco" out this week:

And how can we have a blog post without mentioning vampires... check out this fan video for Pink Mountaintops (from Vancouver).....it's for the song "Vampire" and features clips from what Douglas here tells me is the amazing "Let The Right One In"

Enjoy the break everyone (except you Canadian's, I'll be waiting)!
