Top Ten (pounds gained)

It happens every year, the inevitable top ten list...  Honestly though, how can I write a musical top 10 and not offend any of the wonderful labels that I work with... SO when asked by Merge for my top ten I quickly turned to the BRM crew and we threw together this list of ten mostly delicious edible delights of 2009!  So here we go:

-Dirty Thai aka Bennie's Thai Cafe (Make your expectations clear when you order... "that comes with rice, right?")
-Taco Truck (sorry Cake Boss, these dudes in the truck should have a show instead...)
-Schnitzel Truck aka Schnitzel & Things  (Want a heart attack... just find the photo of their schnitzel burger)
-Vegan Treats  (Who made the cake pictured above.)
-Newman-O's (Did we just B-Side Oreos?  Yes we did.)
-Lisa's Granola (Sorry no link, but feel free to ask for the secret recipe)
-Stumptown Coffee (Hairbender Blend... please small cups for newcomers... you'll thank us later.)
-Senegalese Chicken Peanut Soup (Hale & Hearty... we know how it sounds but trust us.)
-Uncle Eddie's Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies  (This cookie has gone MIA in NYC... any leads?)
-Adrienne's Pizza (After numerous tests we have concluded that 6 slices might be too much.)
and
Battlestar Galactica (ok... they never ate on the show, but they could frackin' drink!)

OK, hungry yet?  Or did you just netflix all of BSG (last season really had some great episodes much better then the last season of Sopranos)... Anyway, how about a couple of placement highlights of the year? How's that for exciting?

Still nothing beats getting a placement that I can almost explain to my kids, so we will end this year of eventful blogging with Army/Navy in the trailer for "Shrek 36-The Return Of Edward Cullen":
