A Smokey Fire After A Blues Explosion?

A sporting event this weekend not played by 8 year olds?  Is this what everyone is talking about?  Ok, since neither team rhymes with the NYSETS (who misses World Team Tennis?), we will talk about the commercials (if only the internet had more outlets for people to speak about sports).  This is BRM's 3rd Superbowl spot in five years.  Not bad right?  That makes our RBI for football 75 wickets from the free throw line (I told you I should stay away from the sports thing).  This year we are proud to present the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion cover of the Ram Jam 70's take on the Leadbelly classic "Black Betty."

Now, flip on the old Flux Capacitor on and revisit... oh... they are still up on YouTube.

The first BRM Superbowl spot? Who can forget Smokey Hormel's "Blues For Tiny" in the Diet Coke ad for Black History Month:

And of course last year was that new band that a few people like in the NFL spot:

For now though we will ride the BRM helicopter (made by VW of course) to our ring side seats.

Enjoy,
Lyle
