Nothing says Earth Day more then an internet blog! The BRM office is actually running off of VGP (vegan gerbil power) and coffee is made with reclaimed rain water purified by running it through a natural bed of demo cds that we've thrown on the ledge!

Damon and Naomi anticipated this Earth Day 2011 all the way back in 2005 when they released an album called "The Earth Is Blue." Talk about being ahead of the curve! Way to plan for the future you two! Here's "The Earth Is Blue":

No recycled sounds here, because D&N also have a new album coming out in June called "False Beats and True Hearts." Check out this new "video" for Wire magazine.

Instead of wasting the four following lines, I've decided to run them all, and you can pick your favorite:

The video was filmed on retuned Luna stock, so no musical ears with good taste were harmed with the making of the video.

The video was filmed on returned Luna stock, ever mindful of the hazadous pollution... noise or otherwise.

The video was filmed on returned Luna stock, looking after the music industry's crap footprint.

The video was filmed on returned Luna stock, kinda like making a Dogfish 120 Minute IPA bottle from a Coors Light long neck

Onto more positive Earthy vibes! When was the last time you listened to "The Earth Is In The Sky" by Tom Verlaine from "Songs and Other Things"? Released in 2006 on Thrill Jockey this is a 100% pure late era Tom classic. You make the Earth a better place by checking this bad boy out:

Also on Thrill Jockey we have Mountains! And, while we would think Mountains blowing up is a good thing, it seems people really like to blow up mountains... thats kinda a bad thing I guess. Anyway, they have a new record coming out in May called "Air Museum".   Check out this new jam called "Thousand Square". Part of the proceeds of all records sold will go uh to Mountains, so support earth day and support Mountains (the ones we want to see blow up).

Yup! Nothing is more Earth Day then spending time in your uh Gardens & Villa. Check out the new Gardens & Villa recording-its the end of the Earth Day Blog theme jam "Orange Blossom":

Enjoy!
