A BRM Weiner?

A quick blog post today could be made up of HILARIOUS complaints about lack of AC (sweaty robbers) and an attack of killer bees (swollen robbers) in the BRM office... or we would could just make some easy jokes at the expense of Anthony Weiner (disappointed robbers).

Well, a quick lunchtime office poll suggests Anthony Weiner is the way to go...  So here you go, a list of  7 THINGS ANDREW WEINER SHOULD TEXT TO HIS WIFE:

1) Bon Iver's cover of "I Can't Make You Love Me": Nothing the ladies like more than a sad Justin Vernon and his version of a song that Bonnie Raitt made famous.......

2) Eleanor Friedberger "My Mistakes": Eleanor Friedberger, of the Fiery Furnaces, is putting out a solo record in July, but her new track, "My Mistakes," could be Anthony's new campaign theme song. Hey, if that mayor from DC who smoked crack could get re-elected, I'm sure Anthony can get back in the ring... the only real question is... will he still be wearing a ring?



3) The new Rosebuds record, "Loud Planes Fly Low," is here and, yes, it is the divorce album...  Here's a little promo about the new record (which, oh yeah, got a 7.3 in Pitchfork the other day, no sweat.)




4) From the new Wooden Birds album ""Two Matchsticks" - a song called uh, "Secrets" ...yeah say no more.



5) Tracy Thorn - "My Divorces" Damn, we really have this thing on lock down... I could do this all day... but then I would be a very sad robber. 



6) Maybe something poppy will win over the hearts of a certain angry wife? Well, maybe an obscure pop song from 1978 that of course the Numero label discovered? The video alone....



7) Cliffie Swan - "Memories Come True" ...like wishful thinking... out loud... on national television. From the upcoming Cliffie Swan cd "Memories Come True" the title track:
