Hey, we aren't music supervisors here (too much work), but once and a while a song will pass our ears and we will have that brilliant almost fully awake moment of "Huh, that would sound good on True Blood or any show with vampires or even perhaps Frankensteins if they existed... the shows... not the monsters... or yes, the doctors... I know that was the name of the doctor not the monster, but tell it to Abbot and Costello."  I know it's a rather specific wakeful moment, but it happens, so there.

Well, with the exciting premiere of TB just around the corner, here are a few more tunes for Sookie and the fang gang:

She & Him "I Put A Spell On You":

I'm sure at least one of those werewolf biker dudes sits around and reads Pitchfork - I mean come on... did you see how many beards there were in that crowd, they must love Drag City Records.  So when Pitchfork gave the Cliffie Swan record a 7.3  I'm sure they were howing at the moon! Check out "California Baby" by Cliffie Swan:

And speaking of whose gonna save the world - I assume the vampires, right?  Maybe it will be Father's Children from 1973 (hint: this season there will be time travel)!  First check out this awesome packaging (all hail The Numero Group!):

Now give a spin to "Whose Gonna Save The World":

Everyone's favorite character Lafayette would of course have the best playlist. You know he's jamming the new super-sized video from YACHT:

Think we are the only ones playing this game? Ryan Kwanten, who plays the classic Jason Stackhouse is a JBM fan. Don't believe us?  Click here:

Here's Ryan's favorite JBM song live:

Had enough of the vampires? Well you aren't alone... The Mountain Goats are screaming "Damn These Vampires":

However who could forget that episode ender in the first season from the Grammy Nominated Soundtrack:

Cobra Verde "Play With Fire"

True Blood - new season? Our DVR's are set-also for "Louie," and that new show with the aliens....

x,
