Today is the day when we give in and blog about turntable... and yes by blogging about turntable I mean that we will be there as much as we can today on this summer Friday:  http://turntable.fm/bank_robber_music

So yeah, a blog about turntable that we will post on facebook, and of course then we will tweet about as well... thankfully we have it set up so that the tweet will also be posted on facebook.  Where is my Friendster integration?  I'd make a MySpace joke... isn't accepting MySpace isn't accepting any new jokes.  Is everyone exhausted yet?  How about we kick it out uh "old school" with some new videos?  You know... like the talkies, but on the computer box.

Future Islands new video for "Before The Bridge" dealing with the age old dilemma (I think), of love going away.  Not even Turntable can stop that from happening!



Speaking of old school-did I mention that BRM is working with WIRE? Kind of hard to believe, but have you heard "Red Barked Tree" and, of course, here's the video:



Talking about old school-looking, like an out-take from The Old Gray Whistle Test, the Mates Of State are back with "Maracas":



Oh, and if you are actually going to see a movie in one of those olde thyme joints that shows moving pictures up on a SCREEN, don't worry, you will hear Spoon's "The Underdog" in "Horrible Bosses"
