BRM: Dancing To The Mailbox

Hey, I understand that BRM is a still a mail based company.....Supervisors have systems in place that are built around cds, and sure, all those mp3s on a computer desktop can be messy (just as messy as  a real desk top filled with discs).  I do hear complaints that sometimes cds don't show up, and well the mystery has been solved.  Our local mail guy ALF has been putting our mail in the doggy poo box! Such a shame all those cds that didn't make it out to supervisors......If you feel your cds went into the dog poo box feel free to ask for replacement copies.  In the meantime, it is time to fire Alf....maybe it is time he went digital?

Well in case you didn't receive any of the following, check out a few clips from the latest in BRM land:

Bass players? Solo records??? Well Ra Ra Riot's Mathieu Santos's solo jam "I Can Hear The Trains" could of come off of that "McCartney 2" re-issue.  If this doesn't have you thinking of "Comin' Up" you don't know your Macca!

Did you happen to see the new Lia Ices video? Sounds like a bonus track from Carole King's "Tapestry" and that is a very good thing:

Or perhaps you saw Lia Ices "Grown Unknown" which based on the flower in the clip is about the super powers of Miracle-Gro (Grown Unknown indeed!):

So you think you can dance to Beirut? These people do and did! Check them out dancing to "Gulag Orkestar":

That's totally what I do whenever I hear Beirut.  Have you heard the new Beirut single? It will make you dance for sure!

Wanna see more than YouTube links this weekend? How about checking out "30 Minutes Or Less"? You'll get to hear the Generationals "I Promise", no I mean, the song "I Promise" not that i will promise that it will be in the film, but actually i will!

Enjoy!
