Yeah, I know Eli Manning lives in Hoboken.  I also know that IF the ummm... Giants, that's it... Giants...  win the SuperCup that Hoboken will go absolutely bonkers.  You know, desk car flipping, comic book shop looting, tear gassy, kinda like I imagine Lepre-Con Day is going to be (sigh)....

So to prepare for the Sunday sport thing, I present you with the BRM SUPERDISTRACTION BOWL HIGHLIGHTS:

Keep your eyes and ears open for this new Toyota commercial featuring Megafaun's "Hope You Know":

Nice piano 'ay?  Speaking of pianos (smooth right?), you might have heard that it was Philip Glass's 75th Birthday this week.  He had a little party featuring Kronos Quartet, Maki Namekawa, and his cousin Ira Glass, among others.  Heck, it was hard to know where the stage ended and the audience began with Mike Stipe, Paul Simon... or Mr. liked to bump into my chair all night, Lou Reed in attendance.  But in the end we are all equals... everyone had to line up for cake!  No status could secure a corner piece, it was magical (and the cake wasn't that bad either):

Our special birthday present to Philip will come in the form of a Best Buy spot running during the superball featuring "Floe," check out this PG classic:

If you happen, just happen to be watching the Super Bowl in CANADA (where it's played a month early like Thanksgiving right? ...and with hockey instead of football) check out this new Canadian Budweiser spot featuring We Were Promised Jetpacks "Keeping Warm":

Want ever more distractions? How about a few new videos!

Nada Surf  "When I Was Young":

They Might Be Giants "When You Will Die" (which I dedicate to the guy behind Lepre-Con, you little green devil):

And how about a little NC-17 video to really distract you? The Magnetic Fields "Andrew In Drag":

Plus a little new M. Ward:

It makes a nice sandwich!
