Defecting Grey "Pivotal"
From Add To Want List:
”
New Jersey trio Defecting Grey released their new album on Fake Chapter Records this week. I’m fairly certain this is the first record of theirs I’m hearing, but they already have a debut album and a couple of EPs in their discography. Anyhow, Pivotal? That’s a pretty cool record.
Defecting Grey play like they grew up on college rock and punk rock, then decided to steal Bob Mould’s blueprints for writing powerful alternative rock. They also admit to liking their AOR and power pop, and true to their name, those influences color their music in unexpected ways.”
