Annie Hart "Everything Pale Blue (RTP)"
From Annie Hart:
Everything Pale Blue is the first collection of ambient music by New York City-based composer and Au Revoir Simone keyboardist Annie Hart. Performed on analog synthesizers and processed through daisy chains of delay, reverb and loop effects, Everything Pale Blue’s warm, sonorous tones and trance-like, minimalist arrangements recall the work of pioneering electronic music composers Wendy Carlos, Éliane Radigue and Brian Eno, as well as German Kosmische Musik groups of the 70’s like Kraftwerk, Cluster and Tangerine Dream.
Tim Foljahn "I Dreamed A Dream (RTP)"
From Tim Foljahn:
It’s not a dream — after more than five years, Tim Foljahn has returned with a stunning new solo album, I Dreamed a Dream. His decades as a highly in-demand guitarist — in the studio and on-stage — all the while perfecting his own songwriting — are crystalized in this record. Foljahn’s songcraft, guitar expertise, and seamless genre changeups are all back, but imbued with a new sense of depth and beauty. Lyrically, the dream of life is a recurring theme, along with disillusionment, and ultimately, resurrection. The album is a mature, vital work; Foljahn draws not just from his vaunted career in music, but also from the ever-shifting world around us.
Dawn Richard "Second Line (Merge)"
A new album from Los Angeles musician, Dawn Richard.
Ruby Bones "Laser Tooth Tiger (BRM)"
Paying tribute to all their favorite indie rock bands and instilled with youthful nostalgia, Laser Tooth Tiger merges overdriven guitars with classic rock riffs and an underlying sense of adventure. It’s a record detailing the trials and tribulations of being young while reaffirming that it’s all worth it and you’re going to be just fine.
